Derek, IJC/OPM is able to use a scanner for linearization, but it won't be as accurate as a densitometer or spectrophotometer. All you do is scan the printed test target, save it, open it into IJC, and drag your mouse pointer across the target. L* values are read directly into the program for linearization.
