What would the printer do if the wrong cart was installed? Would the ink button/light go solid red? The reason I'm asking is that I had either an incorrect or bad chip on a new MIS C86 refillable clear M cartridge. Resetting the chip didn't help. Didn't think of trying the cartridge in different slots until after I swapped out the chip with a new one.
