Be sure the black ink type matches that paper you want to use: Eboni for matte, Photo black for glossy. The chip resetter and modification of it are when you decide to use bulk inks and refill carts. Then you need to reset the chip so the printer doesn't think it's out of ink. Those warm inks are pure carbon. If the tone of the print is too warm for you, use some neutral carts to cool them down.
