Luster is cheaper, so i do my proofing on it, and the final print on Semi-gloss. i feel that i get a "little" better Dmax on Semi-Gloss, and also feel it is a "little" sharper (under a loupe), maybe it's just that it's smoother, BUT i am spitting hairs. hanging on the wall, not many would see a difference. other my disagree with my observations, but don't i think you'd see a big difference in the two. those two are the only papers i use though, and i've tried A LOT of papers. hope that helps evan
