Mitch, A friend of mine who owns 2 7600's was totally frustrated with his b/w output on a fancy, expensive RIP (not IP) using all gray expensive inks. In desperation, he printed the photograph on his color (photo black) 7600 using a profile he created for routine color work on that paper, I believe LexJet Prem Semimatte. I'de be damned if it was not close to perfect, and certainly no objectionable metamersim. So, I beileve you man!
