Scott, The Fixativ listed in your first URL is the product I use. I think Dick Blick has as good a price as anyone. I have not used the UV varnish. I experimented with those water-based acrylic suspensions for a while and decided the solvent based sprays were the better way to go. The Golden technician told me that the UV inhibitors in their solvent based coating were several times more effective than those in the water-based. Those acrylic suspensions were described as like a bunch of soft little golf balls. UV and other things tend to go right through the holes between them. The solvent based coatings go on dissolved, penetrate much better, and have a much tighter structure after the solvent evaporates. So, if I were to experiment with UV coatings, I think I'd be more inclined to do so with the solvent-based ones.
