Mark, I would not mix inks. Why introduce an unknown factor into an already difficult situation. Save the Piezo inks as suggested. You will find that with the FS inks and Piezo driver the curve will be more linear than the modified "s" shaped curve generated with Piezo inks. I don't know if this is good or bad, it is only different. In tests we have found that Piezo compresses the shadows to give the impression of a deeper black. With the MIS FS you may have to work a bit with the shadow end to get a similar look. I received the New PiezoBW24 RIP from Cone and they have now included separate profiles for H. Photo Rag 160/208, German Etching, Torchon, William Turner, Albrect Durer, Crane Museo, Legion Photo Matte, and a number of others. I was told by the developer of the Piezo software that they began profiling as many papers as they could. Mike
