Edward, Before finding the MIS UT7 inks, I was pulling my hair out trying to get good B&W prints from my 2200. After using the MIS inks and Paul Roarks curves in Photoshop, I have been very happy. The prints look great and the process is very easy. I have heard a lot of talk about using the QTR and other RIP programs on this group. From the sounds of it, you can also get great prints this way without losing the color option. I do switch my MIS inks for the regular color Ultrachromes when I need to, which isn;t very often. When you switch inksets, you have to run a couple of head cleaning cycles to get things working again, but it is usually no big deal. If you print mostly B&W, I would go with the MIS inks. If you do a lot of both, I would look at getting a RIP. Ben
