No Eboni ink flowing in my CIS

2005-02-19 by Thomas Keesling

Thanks, Peter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that this printer
works for a few more months.

I posted a message a few days ago about a printing problem (see below). The
problem hasn't recurred. However, I now have no ink flow at all in the Eboni
CIS tube. There's still an inch or so of ink in the bottle. Is this an
indication that I somehow lost the vacuum? If so, can it be restored the
same way I established the vacuum when the cart was new and empty? If there
is some other problem that this might indicate, what might that be?

Thanks...

I will be one of the featured artists at a "wine with the artists"
this Saturday, Feb 19th from 2:00-5:00 (or so) at my gallery.
It will be at "Artist of the Valley" gallery, located in St Helena,
California. The gallery is in the St Helena Premiumm Outlet stores,
about 3 miles north of town on Rt 29. I have a selection of digital
carbon prints as well as some of my silver prints. It would be a
pleasure to meet any members of this list. Wine is provided local
Napa Valley Wineries.
Hope to see you there.
Thanks
Peter
