Steve, I have a 1200 set up with Piezzotone Carbon Sepia and it works great. I've had no cloggs or banding or any issue, though I don't use it a lot. I'm sure the MIS quads will work great on it too. I really don't see a lot of difference in output from the 1270-80 machiines and the 1200. However, the tolerances between these older machines were far more different from unit to unit than the Ultrachrome printers are. The 1200 is also a fairly slow printer.
