Time's no issue as the show isn't hung until June, and I have loads of experience in the digital darkroom with various printers/inksets. I'm currently running an epson 1160 with UT-FSN, but have used pretty much every system from the original Piezo to UT2 on a 1280. Accordingly, I wasn't asking as a noob but a potential user of QTR with the R800 or 2200. Searching through the posts, I read that Roy is working on QTR for the R800, and many 2200 owners are happy with their results. My main issue with the 1160 is that as I print small, the viewers are sensitive to the dotty highlights when viewed at close distances. As the R800 has the smaller drop sizes, it seems to be an excellent printer for my purposes when the R800 QTR is released.
