Re: [Digital BW] PC QTR Paper type

2005-02-22 by ferdinand_paris

I asked this same question a while ago. Roy's reply is in

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhite
ThePrint/message/51245

The short answer is that it doesn't matter for most printers. It
doesn't have anything to do with the amount of ink that is used or
paper absorption or anything like that. Media heading is quite
separate from Curves (this is on the PC version - no idea about the
Mac).

This question is sure to be asked over and over again, because the
answer is far from obvious, and it would be useful if the essential
elements in Roy's reply were included somewhere in the QTR(Gui)
documentation, like the QTRGui help file.
