Yes but to be honest they are really useless. How about a step wedge with measured Lab data typed next to it. A swab depends too much on how the cotton bud deposits the ink. Reading the swabs with DigitalColor Meter, I get L readings of circa 28-30 for UT2 LM and circa 8-8.5 for UT2 M. Reading my own swabs I get L readings of around 28 for my UT2 LM and about 26 for my UT2 M (which I am not using). I am fast coming to the conclusion that someone whom MIS respects a great deal, eg Paul, needs to give them a real slap re quality control. I will take a look at my UT7 cool inks as well.... > From: Carl Schofield <scho@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Tue, 22 Feb 2005 07:51:29 -0500 > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: Re: [Digital BW] QTR neutral curve PKN, UT7 Light warm/cool grey > > > They have some swatches here: > http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/colorswabs.html
