Hello Christer,

I've been trying to reduce flakes using such extreme measures as
sanding and scrubbing until I read your email. It turns out a soft
cloth works wonder. I found some towels made of a material called
microfiber or micro-loop which is supposed to be good at grabbing
small particles. Some lens cleaning microfiber cloth might work very
well, too.
