Digital BW, The Print

This is my dilemma.  I need another printer and the 3000 has everything I 
want (larger print size, larger paper, 4 colors).  But all the problems with 
the 3000 prevent me from making a purchase decision.  

Any words of wisdom...especially from 3000 users?
