Hmmm, what's that got to do with the original question? Norm- Rather than go through that convoluted mess in PS7, I just did everything I could in 16-bit, then converted to 8-bit for the rest. It's not the normally accepted work flow, but gets you there. Even now, we adjust to what we have at hand. CS has some new features and some changes that piss me off, but I work around them.
