Deadman's custom sharpener is an action that will operate on 16 bit gray files in Photoshop CS. I also have PK sharpener but using it with 16 bit gray scans of 4x5 negatives that are converted to RGB produces very large file sizes (2 gb+) that really slows my system down (iMac G5, 2 gb ram). I like Deadman's custom sharpener because I can stay in 16 bit gray mode and also it is very fast compared to PK.
