I haven't had any problems with QTR ( on Max OSX Panther) on my 9600 or on my students and friends 2200 machines (mac) , other than the fact that it is quite slow for very large prints and requires usb rather than firewire connectivity right now for some printers. It works fine for rolls and sheets and the interface is very easy to navigate. It took me exactly one hour to figure out everything I needed to know. I started selling high-end toned monochrome prints from that combination immediately. I am so happy it exists. Since QTR is free to try and only $50.00 to purchase why not try it? You certainly have more flexability with other rips but you pay for it, and you might not need those features........or you might. John
