When my original R800 stopped accepting paper, I found that I could eventually get it to work again but only with plain paper and only if I had a stack of it in the feed tray. Yours could be afflicted with a similar problem. The new one seems fine in this regard but it hasn't done a lot of work yet. FWIW, Epson Tech Support were extremely helpful. They guy I spoke to asked me a few questions, including how old the machine was, then gave me a DOA authorisation number without any prompting from me and in spite of the fact that it was just outside their 14 day window for such things. > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Richard Morton > <soulman@n...> wrote: >> I'm using an R800 for printing images with large areas of black and >> noticing that the printer marks the surface of HPR... >> >> ...Does anyone have any suggestions on how to use sheets in the roll >> feed >> slot or anything else to try? Doesn't sound like anyone else has tried feeding sheets into the roll slot on an R800 then... Thanks anyway, Richard
