When my original R800 stopped accepting paper, I found that I could
eventually get it to work again but only with plain paper and only if I
had a stack of it in the feed tray. Yours could be afflicted with a
similar problem. The new one seems fine in this regard but it hasn't
done a lot of work yet.

FWIW, Epson Tech Support were extremely helpful. They guy I spoke to
asked me a few questions, including how old the machine was, then gave
me a DOA authorisation number without any prompting from me and in
spite of the fact that it was just outside their 14 day window for such
things.

Doesn't sound like anyone else has tried feeding sheets into the roll
slot on an R800 then...

Thanks anyway,

Richard
