Digital BW, The Print

Hi,

I recently stumbled on the C86/C84 usability with MIS EZ system.
I got pretty excited and went looking for the printers.

The thing is, I live in Thailand, and in this part of the world,
Epson sells the C84 under the C83 name. We don't even have the C86.

I did some checking on the net and found that C83 ink product codes 
are different from C84/C86. For example, cyan is marketed under T0472 
for C83 whereas it is T0442 for C84/C86. The pictures of the 
cartridges certainly look the same to me though.

My question is, will I be able to enjoy the EZ system with an Epson 
Stylus C83 printer? Sorry for my noobness, but what determines 
compatibility besides ink cartidge specs?

We have another lower end Epson Stylus C65 that uses the same ink as 
the C83/C84. It's rated slower, but also seems like a similar printer 
in my untrained eyes. If this works too, I'll be a very happy man 
because it is dirt cheap.
