Digital BW, The Print

>How does a small 5x5 inch image placed in the centre of a white
>8.5x11 inch sheet extend over the printable area of the paper?

How or why it does this I have no idea. All I know is that it has happened 
to me twice and each time I cropped some white off until the image file was 
smaller than the printable area and it worked fine.

You'll have to ask Roy about the "why."
