Not sure how to do split toning wiith QTR but you can do it with 
pauls curves by seleting areas and applying different tone curves to 
each. 
Maybe something similar can be done by preparing different selections 
of the image as different files to be printed 'one at a time' - 
similar idea to what you do with your 4 printing passes on the same 
sheet.
