Hi Russell
I have the C84 with EZ inks, I assume it's pretty close to
the C86.
What are you comparing it to when you say it is ink hungry ?
I find the consumption OK, at least in relation to a Canon i9100
and the Epson 2200 that I have.
Frequent cleaning cycles will eat more ink than anything else,
also, what resolution are you printing at ?
I guess that your black and magenta are the first to go,
that is normal. MIS sells the high capacity black carts,
at least for the C84, don't know if the C86 has the same
configuration.
You got yourself the most cost effective B&W entry level
system that money can buy.
Cheers !
Andrei

Subject: [Digital BW] Ink Usage with MIS EZN
Hi Gang...........
I just got the MIS EZN Inks working with my
Epson C66 and I am having fun playing with it.
Is it my imagination or do the Epsons EAT INK!
Also......
Does one find that one tank is used faster than the rest?
When I re order I will order an extra tank of what
is used more frequently.
Thanks
Russ
