Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
some days ago I purchased IJC/OPM.
Now I want to linearize some profiles using my EyeOne spectrophotometer.
Unfortunately the device provides only Lab data.
Could anybody advise me, how to import these data to IJC.

Do I need a special software to measure density values with my EyeOne ( I don´t have 
ProfileMaker, is there any "free/share-ware" available??)
or can I use a L* to density conversion chart (and where do I get one)?
Or is there any hidden import function in IJC which I missed so far.
