Digital BW, The Print

I'm currently using an Epson 1280 with UT2 for B&W and a 2200 with
Ultrachrome inks for color. The 1280 seems to have major clogging
issues that I don't seem to be able to resolve.

The question is, since I seldom print color (every couple weeks),
should I buy UT7 CIS inks for B&W on the 2200 and then put the
Ultrachrome back for the ocassional color print or should I get
replacement 1280. The 2200 seems to have less clogging problems and
probably higher quality B&W prints. I think I would go this way unless
there is a problenm with periodic ink cartridge changes.
