I would suggest using it. If it develops the problem we are
discussing, you will have gotten a few years use out of it, spent 2X
what you paid for the printer on paper and almost as much on ink. At
the price they are a great deal even if they only last a few years.
And the prints are great. 

Also consider:
1) this potential problem may or may not be real. Don't draw firm
conclusions from a few posts (including mine)
2) if real, they may be a solution.
