That sounds like you're not actually getting QTR to run in calibration mode. Either you've got an old version (in which case, you really need to upgrade to the latest, or you've got the dreaded "mixed installation". Sometimes, when you install a new QTR over an older one, bits and pieces of teh old program hang around, mucking up the works.

Download QTRcleanout, run it, and it will decontaminate the old QTR versions, so your new QTR installation should be "pure".

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
