Keep it and use it. Maybe don't buy the CFS at first, but go for the refillable carts. If there 
is a problem clog that can not be fixed, within the first year, call Epson to exchange it for a 
new one.

I have a 1280 and it works very well and not temperamental at all. My 1280 got off to a 
shaky start because of a bad CFS but MIS resolved the problem and have very few clogs.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
