Digital BW, The Print

I'm wondering, after reading several threads (now that I have my old 1280 printing correctly again) if, since I used OEM inks in it for years, if it will work reasonably successfully with the MIS carts--or if I'm better off to stick with my 2200 and QTR.

  I think the ink-mixing theory has merit, though my 1280 is still very new and it's not really 
  a valid comparison, but my experience with the 870 makes me believe this.
