Re: [Digital BW] Epson 1280 with MIS UT printing problem

2005-04-04 by ben_zlotkin

Paul,

Thank you for excellent advice once again.

I was/am not aware that you can remove the parking pads. I assume
this is needed to 'rinse them' - Please advise. It would be great
because I need to store the 1280 (now only for B+W) for months at a
time whilst I photograph. Any storage ideas will be appreciated.

Also, a general question: I am using the cartridge UTFSN set up. It
is the first B+W system I've tried. In your opinion (or anyone
elses), should I try other set-ups? This seems to be working.

Keep in mind that I am a graduate student, so cost matters - but so
does print quality and longevity since I show work in a fine art
setting weekly.

_ thanks, Ben Z.
