Try it and see.

In the Epson driver, a lot more is changed than curves: ink type in particular (matte or 
photo), ink load, feed suction, etc.

and the curves don't change at all unless you are using printer color management (same as 
source in Print w/Previewe)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
