Anne, I'd just go ahead and load the EZ ink. If there is a problem you'll still have the Epson ink that you can load to be sure it's not the printer. Hope it works for you. The EZ warm is pure carbon -- quite warm but very lightfast. If you want to cool it down just a bit, one or two EZ neutrals will do it. Enjoy.
