Jim, I have a C84 set up with the MIS BW inks. Knowing I wouldn't use it daily like I do my 1160, I did some research on the C84. I found a recommendation to put a wet paper towel in an open baggie and put that down in the printer then put a plastic bag over the whole thing. I have done this and have had great luck. Most of the time nozzle checks are great - if not it only takes one cleaning cycle to get everything firing. Sorry about your 1160...a great printer.
