Digital BW, The Print

I just received an SS120 with Bunuscan and Silverfast. I'm not having very good luck
with it. Is there someone out there who is successfully using the SS120 and SilverFast
and can answer some questions? 

I've read the Silverfast PDFs and looked at their website to no avail.

I'm also suspicious of a possible focus problem.

I'm about ready to throw this thing out the window -- or at least pack it up and send it back.
