Digital BW, The Print

My dilemma is this: I am using MIS inks in the C86 for b&w and like the 
results.  I use the 2200 for color and think it does a beautiful job 
there. However, at least 90% of my work is b&w. Would switching the two 
printers make more sense; the 2200 with MIS inks for b&w and the C86 
for color?  Would I gain in b&w quality by using the 2200 for b&w, and 
would I lose much in color quality by going to the C86 for that?  I 
have tried QTR, by the way, and like it.  But I do occasionally have 
problems importing the images into QTR.  Printing directly from 
Photoshop with the MIS inks seems more convenient to me. Has anyone 
tried both the C86 and the 2200 with the MIS inks??  Thanks,  Edward
