I have used a little of the Eco Print Shield. It is similar to the water-based coatings we were using a couple years ago, including the Golden product. As with them, for the home or individual user, one question is how best to apply the rather viscous material. I found the Mayer rod worked well at 8x10, but I didn't have much luck scaling it up. Some seem to have luck with airbrushes. The large HVLP sprayers seem to do well, but they are a bit overkill for most of us. Some also have good results with rollers. I abandoned the water-borne coatings for other reasons also. Most if not all never totally lost their tendency to adhere to the back of other prints. I don't know if the Eco Print Shield also suffers from this. It deserves further testing, and some time I hope to get back to it. I think if the application were convenient and it dried thoroughly, it might give better protection to a print than the solvent based versions.
