Well, After 3 good years, my once trusty Epson 1160 has finally bitten the dust. I cannot unclog the Y head, and have tried every recommended solution, literally and metaphorically. So, now with a gallery exhibit looming, I am looking for printer recommendations, with following specs: max paper width 13 inches; adaptable to CFS; dedicate to B+W; UT inks; various archival papers. I've been very pleased with MIS inkset with my 1160, and have become reasonably good in using and building my own curves. So, a printer with similar workflow / characteristics would be great. Oh well, I'm off now to the back yard where I plan to give my 1160 a decent burial (after kicking it a few more times)! Thanks.
