Cold Press is quite a nice paper. 'bit rough and chunky but pretty good tonality + warmer tone and good dMax and form. The nice thing about these sheets is that the emulsion bends outwards and not inwards making it really great to run through large-format printers without jamming problems. And it smells like tooth-past . . . . I'm working on some color tests this week, more on this later. take care, walker On Apr 20, 2005, at 10:31 AM, john dean wrote: > > If you like Hahnemuhle rag media and would like to find something > close to > that but with more durable surface, check out the > > Photo Smooth Cotton - for a smooth texture but not quite as smooth as > Epson > Ultra-Smooth. > > Soft Textured Art - for someting similar to German Etching > > I've been testing these for both color and monochrome and they are > excellent > in all respects in my opinion.
