I'm using Photo Smooth Cotton, Soft Texture and Cold Press Art. Does anyone have a good way of figuring out the printable side on these papers, other than the "lick your fingers and touch the paper" test? (which is what I've been doing and getting little smudges on the paper). For example, I know that all Epson papers are packaged with the printable side facing up when you open the package from the back (in other words, the printable side is the side that faces the back of the package). Anyone know how Innova papers are packaged with regard to the printable side? (I know that, in theory, the printable side of any paper is the whiter side, but that doesn't help me because (a) some of these papers are warm and therefore the non-printable side and the printable side are equally "white" and (b) under tungsten light, it's pretty hard to tell which side is whiter anyway).
