Not that it's a scam, but other software continues to update minor things in prior versions (e.g., ACR in CS), so Adobe could. Upgrading simply for ACR is nuts! You'd be doing it constantly in a media organization. Upgrading for major features makes sense. CS was just that on the photo side. Since CS2 comes close on its heels, who knows? Is it just a cash generator? Is it stuff only held back from CS so they could do this? Or, is it a MAJOR improvement in many areas that warrants upgrade?
