No I can't explain because I have only just upgraded, but results produced
so far would indicate that somehow better quality is being produced using
old, well tested images. By better quality I mean cleaner colours and
smoother shadow rendition.

At this stage it would appear that monitor to print match is better. I am
using i1 Photo for both screen and inkjet. Printer profile is as produced
several weeks ago using the single sheet profiling method.

I also like the browser and the RAW converter is decidedly more feature
rich.
