Steve, have you tried the PixelGenius forum too? Bruce Frasier seems to be there and answering questions and helping. http://forums.pixelgenius.com/showthread.php?t=569 but not sure you can get in without registering. Have you tried using a mask on your sharpening layers and brushing out the sky and shadow areas (or using sharpening brushes instead of the sharpening effects)? I'm assuming you are doing the capture and creative sharpenings and getting 'crunchy' areas which is what I've read elsewhere. Rob Galbraith's forums are always good for sound information. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try there.
