Hi Thanks for responding. I've tried both the driver off the CD for the 2100 (I'm in the UK) and the downloaded driver for the 2200 from the US site (it makes no difference). I've tried the neutral, cool and warm curves for the Ilford smooth pearl downloaded from your website today. And I've tried the neutral curve for epson glossy photo paper. I get the same weak blacks whatever curve or paper I choose. I printed a couple of prints on EEM with both the driver and QTR; and one on HPR using QTR and they are OK so I think the inks are in the correct positions. I never had this problem with the UT2 inks on my 1290 (smooth pearl was my main paper). I'm completely at a loss on this one.
