Jerome, I own ImagePrint, IJC/OPM and QTR. In my opinion, either IJC/OPM or QTR provide better output than ImagePrint. You can build your own gray profiles, set the Dmax for each paper, and get good linearization, none of which ImagePrint offers. I noticed the difference on my first print. The trade off is that it is more work since you are often building your own profiles, but there are a lot of good profiles available for either IJC/OPM or QTR. I use IJC/OPM on a Windows XP platform with my 2200 and it does a great job. I also have a 4000, and IJC/OPM has some ink problems with that. Hopefully they are being solved as we speak. I also use QTR with equally good results. The real difference is in the interface for building and editing profiles. I like features in both and wish they could somehow combine all the features into one single program. But they are both excellent. I use an Eye One spectrophotometer with both IJC/OPM and QTR, so I can't offer personal experience in the choice of a densitometer, but I have heard many say that the X-Rite 810 is a good one for linearizing profiles. They are usually available for a few hundred dollars on Ebay.
