After messing around with UT2/glop and the roark Workflow on the 1280, my impressions are: Glop works best on Kirkland paper. About perfectly, and no need for 2880. No need for spray (except protection) Good from any angle, very slight glossy surface. Real nice feel when handling. Professional, not "computery" Glop is pretty good on Epson Prem Semi matte, and the surface has almost no gloss reflection. There is a slight need for spray to Iron out some gloss diferential issues. No actual Bronzing with Glop However. Absolutely needs to be 2880, or the shadows block up, and you can see Black-only- like dots in the mids. Looks just the semi-matte darkroom prints I saw and touched last week at a gallerie. Glop on preium semi gloss definitely has to be sprayed, and then the reflections are distracting. Good heft, good image, but you can tell it's been sprayed. The surface feels funny to me. Looks like premium semi-matte is almost as good as kirkland, but a little more trouble. Niether of these feels or looks like plastic. (the premium semi-gloss does though) For people looking for that darkroom Vibe, These two are pretty close. Thanks to Mr. Roark for putting the system together, and answering all my silly questions! I'm set.....now I can relax...aaahhh Doug M
