Re: [Digital BW] Anyone using MIS UltraChrome Ink in a 4000?

2005-05-05 by Carl Schofield

Lou,

Yes. I'm using MIS UC equivalents in my 4000. I also subsituted PKN
for PK and LKN (UT7 LK) for LK. I didn't bother flushing when I
switched, but I did print some purge files to hasten the transition.
Obviously you need to re-profile all of your papers, but not a big
problem. I bought two sets of empty carts and refill from bulk
inks. No clogging problems, but I haven't been using the MIS inks
very long (just starting to use my second set of inks).
