Re: [Digital BW] PKN with UT-1

I guess UT-1 is different from UT inkset listed below

MIS site listed it as "2200 ULTRATONE CARTRIDGES FOR BOWHAUS OR
QUADTONE RIP". This is not the old VM upgrade, is it?

The above UT inkset for 2200 has 2 blacks and 3 grays and 2 toners. I
can give up sepia and use GLOP in place of the sepia toner.

For glossy, is it a good idea to use PKN + 3grays (25-50-75) + 1cool
toner work using QTR?

For matte, I will use Eboni + 3grays (25-50-75) + 1cool toner using QTR?

I read the Roark's Lab again more closely and I saw that you are
recommending PKN for BO prints.

I also read that the cool toner has problem cooling shadows with PK
ink. This is why I thought maybe PKN can be used for the 95%-100%.
Cool Toner can be used for the < 95% 3grays (25-50-75).

Another question, is PK same ink between MIS-UC and MIS-UT7 inksets?
MIS has so many inks, with the same name. Thanks.
