In my 9500, the eboni holds on to a couple of the Red River 
luster/semigloss papers fairly well. Yes it will wipe off if you try 
hard enough, but far better than other matte black inks, and better 
than many other papers. Just to repeat, no it does not stick like 
photo black, but better than many other matte black inks. You have to 
try it and see if the results are acceptable to you. Gloss 
differential may be the bigger issue.

My suggestion is to try things like this. There is very little of 
this sort of testing that will cause permanent damage to your 
printer. May cause a mess that needs to be cleaned, but not 
permanent. Live on the edge, and test things for yourself since 
what "works" for me, may not "work" for you.
