When you make your first Ink Separation Test Print you have to determine where on the 21 step strip there the ink completely fills the patch, the "max out" point. You place the dried print on your lightbox and examine with the loup. Evaluate each ink. If you haven't got a copy, of the Quadtone RIP User Guide, get it from Roy's website. This particular issue is dealt with on pages 12-13. Good luck.
