Frank, A transformer will not change the AC frequency but awhile back Nina, I believe sent me the info off the id plate and it is designed to run on 50 to 60 Hz so you are okay there. Other things to keep in mind is that you will have to pay US Customs duty and Epson US Service will probably not do any warranty repairs for you since it will be a gray market import. You would have to ship back to Epson EU or where ever you get it from. If you go this way let us all know how it turns out.
